Entertaining

The Dining Room in this apartment was originally painted in yellow. We recommended a silver-blue colour for the walls and wood work. We also suggested putting 15% of the wall colour into the ceiling white. The existing stained timber around the french doors and entrance into the dining room was given a fresh coat to bring it back to its former glory.

Dream Time

This master bedroom needed a little lift. We painted  the room in a colour called Daiquiri. This chartreuse green colour has yellow undertones, as does the persimmon colour of the silk…

Art Deco Delight

The interior decorating brief for this 1930′s two bedroom apartment was to bring it into the 21st century, so that it could expect a solid rental return. The budget was modest and…

Canterbury

This three bedroom townhouse was liveable, but needed updating to make it a more pleasurable space.  What a difference removing an internal wall can make. Now the kitchen faces the open plan sitting and dining room, giving it a lot more space. A new bathroom with laundry facilities caters to all the family and the master bedroom has a lovely master ensuite, with a to-die-for walk in wardrobe.

A Study In Space

Originally a laundry, the brief was to turn the room into a study area and add desired extra space to the home. Being only 2.100mm long x 1.450mm wide we needed to use as much of the vertical space as possible.  By designing custom cabinetry in a classic oak veneer, we not only allowed for the abundance of books the family had acquired over the years, we also incorporated a useful desk.

Classic Sitting Room

This Sitting Room in a 1970′s apartment was in need of an update. We painted the room a soft green hue, pulled up the carpet and painted the concrete floors a Hay colour. The hand woven Tibetan rug anchors the room. The lovely north facing windows have been softened with sheer romans and champagne coloured 100% silk curtains.

Timeless Bathroom

The brief was to create an open plan bathroom, which could also house a European laundry. We didn’t want the bathroom to date, but at the same time we wanted it to be sophisticated and warm.

The Creamery Cottage Newham

This historic three bedroom cottage is north of Melbourne in a hamlet near Woodend, called Newham. Built in the 1890′s it was originally the local creamery, servicing the main dairy in Woodend. The original two rooms at the front on the home are now the sitting room and a bedroom.
